1. What is ICRI Europe?
ICRI Europe is a non-profit humanitarian organization whose mission is to develop and operate programs to meet the needs of children and families in Europe as well as to support fundraising and project development for ICRI’s worldwide projects. For the moment ICRI Europe operates mainly in Scandinavia, but our goal is to gradually expand and establish projects in other European countries as well.

2. What differentiates ICRI from other international organizations?
ICRI International has developed a unique approach to international development that allows for local leadership, thus promoting sustainable development and locally appropriate solutions to local problems. ICRI Europe is headed and staffed by Europeans, and the problems and solutions are locally defined and driven. ICRI International provides mentoring, consulting and an international linkage to our work.

3. Is ICRI Europe a foundation?
ICRI Europe is NOT a funding agency. It is an NGO that works in partnership with local organizations and other groups working for children’s welfare.
