ICRI’s work is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Human Rights Declarations.

Communication is also a main pillar in ICRI’s work. All parties benefit when NGOs and other groups that work for children’s welfare cooperate and exchange experiences. By acting as a link of knowledge about children’s programs and research related to children, ICRI furthers cooperation and exchange of knowledge beyond national borders and between different groups.
